I work in IT sphere in the office, as a team lead. I'm non-professional runner. Many years I've participated in adventure races, including running, orienteering, cycling, paddling and so on. Some events was 24, 48 and 72 hours length. Also I've run many rogain starts and 24h championships. In February 2017 I've participated in Finland championship of 24h running and won 3rd place with result 230km. After that I've decided to run Russian 24h running championship and won 2nd place with 246km result. This result gave me official grade in Russia - the master of athletics. From this point I dreamed about Spartathlon strongly, but injury didn't allow me to participate in 2018. Now I'm ok! Nowdays I'm training in alpinism team and continue to train running. I like adventure travelling by bicycle, kayak, by foot with backpack in the mountains and so on.

 Spartathlon revives the footsteps of Pheidippides, an ancient Athenian long distance runner, who in 490 BC, before the battle of Marathon, was sent to Sparta to seek help in the war between the Greeks and the Persians.

Described as the world's most grueling race, the Spartathlon runs over rough tracks and muddy paths, crosses vineyards and olive groves, climbs steep hillsides and, most challenging of all, takes the runners on the 1,200 meter ascent and descent of Mount Parthenio in the dead of night.
