I started running enough recently (in 2017) on short distances (up to 10k), then gradually increased up to 42k in 2022, when I ran my first marathon. Thereafter, I increased the distances by running my first ultra 100k (Passatore 2022), then the 4 Colli Running in 2023, then some 50k, and finally the 9 Colli Running in 2024. I strongly believe that we have no limits, except within ourselves... and this is why I am here to challenge myself in this legendary race. Happy journey to everyone....

 Spartathlon revives the footsteps of Pheidippides, an ancient Athenian long distance runner, who in 490 BC, before the battle of Marathon, was sent to Sparta to seek help in the war between the Greeks and the Persians.

Described as the world's most grueling race, the Spartathlon runs over rough tracks and muddy paths, crosses vineyards and olive groves, climbs steep hillsides and, most challenging of all, takes the runners on the 1,200 meter ascent and descent of Mount Parthenio in the dead of night.
