Yudi Muliawan is an Indonesian road ultramarathon runner with a strong passion for long-distance endurance running. Coming from a corporate background, he represents the spirit of balancing professional life with his passion for running and personal growth. His ultrarunning journey includes several long-distance road races, with a recent 200 km finish at Bintaro Loop in 25 hours. He also holds personal bests 100 km in 11 hours and 3:24 for the full marathon. Yudi will take part in Spartathlon, one of the most historic and challenging ultramarathon races in the world. As Spartathlon is still not widely known in Indonesia, he hopes to use his participation to introduce and promote this legendary race to more Indonesian runners. Through his journey, Yudi aims to inspire others to dream bigger, explore ultrarunning, and show that ordinary runners can pursue extraordinary distances with consistency, discipline, and heart.

 Spartathlon revives the footsteps of Pheidippides, an ancient Athenian long distance runner, who in 490 BC, before the battle of Marathon, was sent to Sparta to seek help in the war between the Greeks and the Persians.

Described as the world's most grueling race, the Spartathlon runs over rough tracks and muddy paths, crosses vineyards and olive groves, climbs steep hillsides and, most challenging of all, takes the runners on the 1,200 meter ascent and descent of Mount Parthenio in the dead of night.
