I am a passionate ultrarunner and have trained for many years for this event. My wife is Greek and I love Greece. I have loved running all my life. I have participated in many races in preparation for Spartathlon, including trail, road, and track events in Australia. I ran qualifying distances in March 2022 when I won the Sri Chinmoy 24 Hour track event in Canberra running over 216 km nd in March 2025 when I ran 201km in the same event. I have run and won many other ultra races. In 2025, I also won the Australian 100 km trail championships in came second in the Australian 100km road race in 8hr 38. I am a member of the Australian Ultra Running Association and the Speedy Geese running club.
