My name is Miguel Carreon. I am a 59-year-old Mexican runner who lives in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. I began running and participate in long distance races at the age of 44 and since then I have participated on 5 of the Abbott Major marathons (Boston, New York, Chicago, London, Berlin), with the goal to race Tokyo next year. During the last 5 years, I had the pleasure to participate a successfully finish seventeen ultramarathon races. The most memorable were Tunnel Hill 100 ultra, which I run it in 18 hours and 13 minutes and Badwater 135 mile ultra in 35 hours and 41 minutes. I love long distance running, since they require daily training, discipline, planned nutrition and mental ambition. All that culminates in a race day. That sense of accomplishment leads to a change of lifestyle that forge a stronger version of ourselves.
