Arti was the only female ever applied for this race from India in 2025. She was hoping to stand on start line, considering she was the only female representative from her country. Unfortunately despite of that she had to go through lottery process, and wasn't lucky enough to get an entry to the event. This year she is again looking forward to participate in the event and represent the female athletes of India at world stage. Arti is a dedicated endurance athlete with a proven track record in extreme-distance races, she has successfully completed two 100-mile ultramarathons, improving her time by 3 hours 28 minutes in just one year (Hell Race: Border 100 Miles: 21:24, 1st Runner-up, Dec 2024 and 24:52, 2nd Runner-up, Dec 2023). She also qualified in 24 hrs stadium run by clocking 182.8kms in national qualifying event and represented her country in IAU world championship in 2025. Her other achievements include Khardung La Challenge 72km (12:47, Sep 2024) and Comrades Marathon 89km (10:48, Bronze, 2022). Additionally, she improved her marathon time from 4:21 to 3:46 within a year, with a sub-3:30 goal ahead. With extensive experience in high-altitude and grueling endurance events, she is prepared to take on Spartathlon, bringing resilience, discipline, and an unyielding drive to the challenge.
