My name is Reigo Lehtla, from Estonia. With over 20 years in environmental policy and managing large-scale international projects, I have cultivated the mental toughness, discipline, and strategic thinking required for extreme endurance. I discovered ultra running as the ultimate test of self-reliance. I come to this challenge with versatile experience: holding a silver medal from the Estonian 100km Championships (sub-9h time) and having recently tested my absolute limits at a 2025 Backyard Ultra race, completing 38 hours (~255 km). I am drawn to Spartathlon for its profound historical significance and the spirit of honoring Pheidippides' legacy. My goal is to face the 246 km journey with humility, respecting the strict cut-offs and the heat, while supporting my fellow runners on this sacred road to Sparta.
